Born in Palmer Alaska, I was raised in a small town in Arizona where I my love of art was cultivated through my family. Among all the other careers a small boy may want, artist remained at the top of the list throughout my life. My first memories are of putting a pencil to paper, an aspect of life that will always be with me.
When I entered high school, my mother and I moved and I became much more independent. At eighteen I took two gap years before going to a small college in upstate New York. Upon completing my degree, I stayed on as the resident graphic artist for a time.
Following that I received an art and design-centric degree from SUNY Broome as well as having studied art at Binghamton University, I currently teach non-credit art courses through Mohave Community College and work as an independent artist.
